In memory of Billy Lowe #26
This day is played in memory of Billy Lowe — son of Aviators President of Hockey Operations and former Elmira Jackals pro Eddy Lowe. An elite hockey and lacrosse player who wore #26, Billy passed away unexpectedly in 2020 at just 15 years old.
In the hardest moment imaginable, Billy became an organ donor — and his gift gave others a second chance at life. To carry his spirit forward, the Lowe family created the FOREVER2SIX Fund, raising awareness for organ donation through Donate Life and honoring the kid who always gave a little more. Every dollar raised supports that mission and the Elmira Aviators family Billy grew up in.
